    Welcome to my station log!

What’s a Nomadic Ham you may ask? Well I’m one! But I’m not a full-time RVer or van lifer, nor am I a SOTA goat (put I do like POTA!). No, I’ve been living away from my home country of the United States since I was 24 and have been moving to a new country every two to three years since 2010. So, I’m that kind of nomad. I never know what kind of operating conditions I’ll find in my new home (or even if I can get a ham license) but since about 2012 I’ve been making it work and have operated in almost every place I’ve lived.

This website is intended to be my literal station log – not of contacts made – but of projects, hints and tricks, personal how-tos – basically a place to store all the things I need to re-establish my shack every time I have to set it up in a new place. Admittedly, it could be a site for an audience of one, just me. But maybe you’ll find some of the things I document on here userful. If so, welcome!
